The Environment and us

Dynamic Teamwear recognises the need for ethical and environmentally sustainable practices and this has ramifications on everything we do. We pride ourselves on been industry leaders in greener methods of production. We are continually taking action to reduce our negative impact on the environment and undertake waste minimisation, recycling and the purchasing of environmentally preferable goods wherever we can.



"In an apparel industry that has been mostly displaced with foreign companies we believe if you go outside of your market to produce a product that your market could provide then it is not sustainable.."

Below are just a few ways in which we are working towards a greener and more ethical approach

Local Printing and embroidery

By using printers located locally to us, we not only reduce the lead time of our jobs, but reduce the distances that our products have to travel. We do not send clothing or items abroad to be printed or embrioded like others may do to reduce costs.

British Suppliers

Wherever possible we use British suppliers of clothing, merchandise. This reduces unnecessary transport of goods (often by air) and also benefits the local and national economy. This reduces the carbon footprint.

Organic cotton

Conventional cotton farming is one of agriculture's most environmentally destructive activities. The simple act of growing and harvesting the one pound of cotton fibre needed to make a T-shirt (or any other conventional cotton product) takes an enormous toll on the earth.s air, water, and soil, and significantly affects the health of people living in cotton growing areas. The good news is that positive alternatives to conventional cotton and its related businesses are available. Over the past decade, a small number of farmers and manufacturers have pioneered the market for organically grown cotton, producing fibres and clothing while significantly reducing toxic chemicals.
Dynamic Teamwear offers a range of organic cotton from manufactures such as .Continental. and .Gildan. giving you the opportunity to aid the environment.

Fair Labour

More and more people are demanding products made without exploitative labour . fair made, not sweatshop made. Dynamic Teamwear support the use of garments made in WRAP certified factories.

WRAP is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to the certification of lawful, humane and ethical manufacturing throughout the world.
The objective of the Apparel Certification Program is to independently monitor and certify compliance with the following standards, ensuring that a given factory produces sewn goods under lawful, humane, and ethical conditions. Note that it is not enough to subscribe to these principles; WRAP monitors the factory for compliance with detailed practices and procedures implied by adherence to these standards. WRAP principles:

The Program.s objective is to independently monitor and certify compliance with these socially responsible global standards for manufacturing and ensure that sewn products are produced under lawful, humane and ethical conditions. Participating companies voluntarily agree that their production and that of their contractors will be certified by the WRAP CERTIFICATION PROGRAM as complying with these standards.

  • Compliance with Laws and Workplace Regulations

    - Manufacturers of Sewn Products will comply with laws and regulations in all locations where they conduct business.

  • Prohibition of Forced Labour

    - Manufacturers of Sewn Products will not use involuntary or forced labour - indentured, bonded or otherwise.

  • Prohibition of Child Labour

    - Manufacturers of Sewn Products will not hire any employee under the age of 14, or under the age interfering with compulsory schooling, or under the minimum age established by law, whichever is greater.

  • Prohibition of Harassment or Abuse

    - Manufacturers of Sewn Products will provide a work environment free of harassment, abuse or corporal punishment in any form.

  • Compensation and Benefits

    - Manufacturers of Sewn Products will pay at least the minimum total compensation required by local law, including all mandated wages, allowances and benefits.

  • Hours of Work

    - Manufacturers of Sewn Products will comply with hours worked each day, and days worked each week, shall not exceed the legal limitations of the countries in which sewn product is produced. Manufacturers of sewn product will provide at least one day off in every seven-day period, except as required to meet urgent business needs.

  • Prohibition of Discrimination

    - Manufacturers of Sewn Products will employ, pay, promote, and terminate workers on the basis of their ability to do the job, rather than on the basis of personal characteristics or beliefs.

  • Health and Safety

    - Manufacturers of Sewn Products will provide a safe and healthy work environment. Where residential housing is provided for workers, apparel manufacturers will provide safe and healthy housing.

  • Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining

    - Manufacturers of Sewn Products will recognize and respect the right of employees to exercise their lawful rights of free association and collective bargaining.

  • Environment

    - Manufacturers of Sewn Products will comply with environmental rules, regulations and standards applicable to their operations, and will observe environmentally conscious practices in all locations where they operate.

  • Customs Compliance

    - Manufacturers of Sewn Products will comply with applicable customs law and, in particular, will establish and maintain programs to comply with customs laws regarding illegal transhipment of apparel products.

  • Security

    - Manufacturers of Sewn Products will maintain facility security procedures to guard against the introduction of non-manifested cargo into outbound shipments (e.g. drugs, explosives, biohazards and/or contraband).
