Our Services

The services we offer give our customers the opportunity to customise their garments or items in anyway they want. Whether you need T-shirts, workwear, corporate polos, hat or pens we have the right techniques to ensure you get the outcome you desire.

Screen Printing

Screen printing is ideal for large designs and large orders and is the 1st choice of Dynamic Teamwear for t-shirt printing because of the quality it produces and the long lasting appearance of the print. Screen printing goes way beyond t-shirts and can be used to print on any garment and most other materials.

Screen printing works one colour at a time, so each new colour requires a new screen to be made up increasing the cost per colour added. New screens are also required for each location of prints and each design. This is the reason why it is usually uneconomical to produce small jobs using screen printing.

Set-up Costs - The first is a setup charge which covers the cost of having the design made into a screen. This charge is 'one off' as screens are stored for future use. Therefore if you to place a repeat order with the same design, there would be no 'set-up' costs!

Samples of our products
Pros
  • affordable, great for large designs
  • wash well
  • once screens are made they can be used over and over!
Cons
  • not economical for small orders requiring more than one colour design.
Artwork Charges - In the vast majority of cases we will not charge for artwork generation as part of your order. Our team of designers will always work with you to ensure the artwork is right and will always provide a proof for you to sign off before we go ahead with printing. However when there is a considerable large amount of artwork to be generated or we are extremely busy, we reserve the right to charge for artwork generation. We will always inform you before charging for artwork.

Heat Sealing

Dynamic Teamwear can customise a wide range of garments and promotional items. Heat sealing is a variation of printing that is an alternative to screen printing. Heat sealing does not incur the set-up charges associated with screen printing and is therefore a cost effective way to customise garments with complex, multi-colour artwork and in small orders.

Heatseal transfer prints are durable and versatile in their applications.  Because of the variants in complexity, price will vary with size, colours and quantity.

Pros
  • No set-up charge
  • Durable and versatile
  • Good for smaller orders
Cons
  • Not suitable for larger orders
  • Quality lower than screen prints
Jobs commonly done by Heat sealing:  Stag do's, Hen do's, One off garments, Football strips

Embroidery

Dynamic Teamwear provide a full customization service through the latest state of the art embroidery technology. We can embroider a variety of designs to our extensive range of top quality garments and other items.  Embroidery is often combined with printing on other parts of a garment.

Embroidery creates an impression of quality and style that is incredibly long lasting. Excellent for polos, jackets, caps, knitwear etc.  However cost is related to size and the number of stitches in the design and large designs can be expensive.

On receipt of your artwork we will produce a Jacquard Tape (a digitized embroidery disc, which is required to transfer customer designs to a particular garment/item.) This will be done by our specialised designers and will incur a charge.
Pros
  • long lasting
  • looks expensive
  • full colour at no extra cost.
Cons
  • more expensive than printing
  • especially for large designs
  • not always suitable for very light materials
There are 2 costs to consider when using embroidery; set-up costs (Digitisation) and the embroidery itself.
Jacquard digitisation = £15-£30

Common jobs that choose embroidery: Rugby Kits, Polo Shirts, Bespoke Clothing, Jackets

Printing Techniques

Plastisol Plastisol – the most common plastisol based print used in garment decoration. Good colour opacity onto dark garments, clear graphic detail, with as the name suggests, a more plasticized texture. This print can be made softer with special additives or heavier by adding extra layers of ink.
Waterbased Water Based inks – these penetrate the fabric more than the plastisol inks and create a much softer feel. Ideal for printing darker inks onto lighter coloured garments. Also useful for larger area prints where texture is important.
Discharge Discharge inks – used to print lighter colours onto dark background fabrics, they work by removing the dye in the garment – this means they leave a much softer texture. They are less graphic in nature than plastisol inks, and exact colours are difficult to control, but especially good for distressed and vintage prints.
Foil Foil – is what you would imagine. A glue is printed onto the fabric and then foils applied for a mirror finish. Due to the gold or silver foil used.
Glitter Glitter/Shimmer – silver flakes are suspended in a plastisol ink to create this sparkle effect. Usually available in gold or silver but can be mixed to make most colours.
Metallic

Metallic – similar to glitter, but smaller particles suspended in the ink.

Expanding Ink Expanding ink (puff) - an additive to plastisol inks which raises the print off the garment, creating a 3D feel.
Caviar

Caviar beads – again a glue is printed in the shape of the design, to which small plastic beads are then applied – works well with solid block areas creating an interesting tactile surface. Minimum quantity of 100 applies.

Four Colour Process

Four colour process – artwork is created using dots (CMYK) which combine to create the full spectrum of colours needed for photographic prints – this means an infinite number of colours can be printed using only 4 screens, making the set-up costs viable. The inks are required to blend and are more translucent, meaning a compromise with vibrancy of colour.

Gloss

Gloss – a clear base laid over plastisol inks to create a shiny finish.

Nylobond – a special ink additive for printing onto technical or waterproof fabrics.
